Thank you for your support of Tricycle, Urban Agriculture, and Richmond, Va as Sequoia Ross and Beth Nelson of Tricycle represented our community and our work to teach the business and practice of sustainable agriculture on the national stage for the American Heart Association's Empowered to Serve Conference and Competition.
We were humbled to be selected as a top ten finalist and by the outpouring support from our local community. The online voting was hot and Tricycle took the lead, while the judges awarded Means Database of Philadelphia, PA, Goffers Get It of Chicago, IL, and Gospel Run of Chicago, IL.
Please join me in congratulating Sequoia Ross and Beth Nelson for their hard work and dedication to our mission and our community and continue to support the important efforts being made to cultivate a healthy community through urban agriculture here in Richmond, Va.
We look forward to celebrating with you under the stars at The Harvest Celebration and Golden Trowel Award Presentation this Friday evening.
